Turtle Lore 2:
To protect, enlighten and give luck
Egyptian mythology believes the spirit of the turtle is one of protection, wisdom, and strength. The turtle is worn as a protective amulet to bring wisdom and avert illness, which in turn generates good fortune and luck. The turtle is courageous because it makes progress when it sticks its neck out, and moves forward with patient, steady flow in order to achieve its goals. These characteristics are meant to inspire and watch over daily life.
